Mission Statement:
To influence Poverty alleviation through leadership and capacity enhancement programs facilitating effective service delivery at all levels with a gender balanced approach

Education:
MHF is working to promote education at all levels through, opening of non-formal education system and successfully opened three schools at remote areas of District Muzaffarabad state of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
MHF aims to create inclusive education system regarding disabled persons.  

Capacity Building:
MHF is actively engaged in the capacity building of different Community Based Organizations and NGOs working in Azad Kashmir, in form of trainings of Record Keeping, Proposal writing, good governance and  Program Implementation strategies.
Also aims to build the capacity of government educational and social welfare setups.

 Awareness:
MHF is actively working on the awareness raising campaigns to make communities aware of different diseases like Tuberculosis, HIV & AIDS, Hygiene, water & sanitation, and also the rights based approach towards health and education including, People living with disabilities with gender balance approach. 

Vocational Centers:
MHF enthusiastically running different vocational centers Male/ Female to enhance the skills of communities to cater their socio-economic vulnerabilities that provide opportunity to have better jobs and economic uplift of communities which helps in reduction of poverty. 

Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction:
After massive earthquake MHF worked with different UN Agencies to provide Food and Non- Food items to communities, also worked in rehabilitation and reconstruction phases for the better livings of communities disturbed during earthquake. 

Infrastructure:
MHF aims to work on physical infrastructure to provide better access of different basic requirements of communities at their door steps through provision of link roads, water supply schemes, water channels, and check dams.

Health:
MHF is working on health through establishment of mother and child health care center at district Muzaffarabad, large amount of people especially females and children benefited from the project, also monthly medical camping is also the integral part of health for all and MHF successfully doing since long.
